Alex Marvez, currently a host for Sirius XM NFL Radio, has covered the National Football League as a beat writer, television and radio reporter, and author for nearly 30 years. Marvez has served as president of the Pro Football Writers of America and is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s 49-person selection committee. During his eight seasons (1999-2006) on the Miami Dolphins beat, Marvez covered everyone from Dan Marino, Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, and Ricky Williams, to Jimmy Johnson, Dave Wannstedt, and Nick Saban. When he isn’t discussing passer ratings and sack totals, Marvez talks clotheslines and pile drivers as the backstage interviewer for AEW Wrestling.
