A bad case of appendicitis turned disastrous for Brian Hartline prior to the 2012 NFL season. Hartline spent 12 days in the hospital, lost 25 pounds, and battled gangrene before receiving a surprise visit from Chad Ochocinco, who had just joined the Miami Dolphins wide receiving corps. The setback was just temporary for Hartline as the former Ohio State Buckeye would go on to deliver back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons for the Dolphins.
