Ollie Gordon's Penalty Sparks HEATED Dolphins Debate! | Fish Tank x DolphinsTalk Crossover

Did Ollie Gordon II's emotions cost the Miami Dolphins a chance to beat the New England Patriots? Or are the Dolphins' defensive struggles the REAL reason Miami let another winnable game slip away?

On the latest Fish Tank x DolphinsTalk Crossover, O.J. McDuffie, Seth Levit and DolphinsTalk's Mike Oliva break down Miami's frustrating loss to New England, and things get HEATED!

After taking a 13-3 lead into halftime, the Dolphins appeared poised to win their second straight game. But 21 unanswered points by the Patriots turned a promising afternoon into another disappointing defeat, dropping Miami to 1-6.

The turning point? Seth points to Ollie Gordon's costly unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, which transformed a manageable third-and-five into third-and-20 and effectively killed a critical offensive possession. But Juice isn't buying the idea that one penalty should define the game, especially when Miami's defense couldn't stop Drake Maye and the Patriots in the second half.

The debate gets intense as O.J. and Seth go back and forth about momentum, accountability, and whether Gordon's fiery personality is becoming a liability for the Dolphins.

The guys also discuss:

  • Malik Willis' leadership: How the Dolphins quarterback handled his heated sideline exchange with Gordon.
  • Miami's young receivers: Why O.J. believes the Dolphins need more playmakers who can make difficult catches.
  • Offensive confusion: Are Bobby Slowik's schemes asking too much of Miami's inexperienced players?
  • Kadyn Proctor's impact: Why his absence exposed significant weaknesses along the offensive line.
  • The bigger picture: Are the Dolphins actually improving despite their 1-6 record?

Plus, Juice shares stories about playing alongside fiery teammates like Brian Cox and recalls a memorable miscommunication with Dan Marino that wasn't quite what it appeared to be.

Was Ollie Gordon's penalty the turning point, or is Miami's defense getting a pass? Tell us who you agree with: Juice or Seth!

0:00 [SPEAKER_00]: you're now diving into the fish team. [SPEAKER_03]: Fish tank, Dolphin's top crossover. [SPEAKER_03]: It is Monday, November 2nd, Seth Levitt here with the great OJ McDuffy and the great Mike O'Liva. [SPEAKER_03]: Two Titans, duke in it out, pre-show here behind the curtains, great stuff all the way around.

0:44 [SPEAKER_03]: That'll appear on somebody's Patreon. [SPEAKER_03]: We should have pressed for four, that would've been, yeah, that was definitely pay-per-view TV right there. [SPEAKER_03]: So, look guys, I thought, [SPEAKER_03]: Halfway through the Dolphins game against the Patriots is wet and crazy as it was at the stadium. [SPEAKER_03]: I thought that we would be talking today about the Dolphins second win in a row, 2-0 in the AFC East, leapfrogging the New York Jets, with the big tiebreaker there at the the seller-dwelling tiebreaker of the AFC East, and then things turned around in the hurry.

1:24 [SPEAKER_03]: And they fall to the New England Patriots and they're sitting here now with the record of one in six, which is exactly where the dolphins were last year Seven games into the season one in six very different circumstances, but the record is what the record is and there's so many things on pack And I think we will on Wednesday night. [SPEAKER_03]: I know dolphins talk is unpacking it They did immediately after the game and other places as well But as we like work, they're a great work. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I appreciate absolutely [SPEAKER_03]: I love it man a little cool by y'all like it man. [SPEAKER_03]: I worked with my camera. [SPEAKER_01]: We were on the same team for the most part said that it was you during you know before together. [SPEAKER_03]: It was me They're friendly wait a minute Okay, I'm not one to judge [SPEAKER_03]: So are we going to get into this?

2:12 [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to focus on what we need to focus on. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to focus. [SPEAKER_03]: We can do either way. [SPEAKER_02]: I can do it. [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe save for the end. [SPEAKER_03]: Fair enough. [SPEAKER_03]: So what I do want, since we're talking about a heated exchange, I think this is a great segue into what I felt was the turning point. [SPEAKER_03]: in the game yesterday for the dolphins. [SPEAKER_03]: The dolphins go in 13 to three. [SPEAKER_03]: They go into the half. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if you want to call it a commanding lead, but for a team that went through the first five games of the season, never having a lead the entire time, and then getting their first win where they never trailed, and then going into the half at 13 to three, you're starting to think [SPEAKER_03]: This thing is maybe accelerated, right?

2:55 [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to get this figured out sooner than we thought here for the Miami Dolphins under the, do you say, halfly Sully or Sully, halfly Aira, or are they, you know, I don't know who gets top damn man first, but who's that? [SPEAKER_03]: Tooth's head man first. [SPEAKER_03]: Head man, well, so head, head coach first. [SPEAKER_03]: You're giving it to me. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he has coach in the games. [SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely. [SPEAKER_03]: So, um, and then all of the sudden the Patriots, [SPEAKER_03]: You know, both teams trade three and out to open the half, and then the Patriots marched down the field and score that 43-yarder. [SPEAKER_03]: we have a little question mark. [SPEAKER_03]: We got to go to review. [SPEAKER_03]: Is it incomplete? [SPEAKER_03]: Was it a fumble out of the end zone? [SPEAKER_03]: I think the the ref's got it right much to our dismay.

3:37 [SPEAKER_03]: Patriots now narrow the gap to 13 to 10, but the dolphins have the ball and they have an opportunity to step on the gas and continue to put points on the board and add some more space there on the scoreboard. [SPEAKER_03]: And then on second and 10, Ollie Gordon has a physical five yard run. [SPEAKER_03]: But then he has to get up and he has to start telling people about it, Jews. [SPEAKER_03]: Next thing, you know, a five yard run turns into a 15 yard penalty and third and five turns into third and 20. [SPEAKER_03]: And that was it. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, to me, that was it. [SPEAKER_03]: They ended up hunting Patriots rattle off another two scores and the dolphins could never come back. [SPEAKER_03]: I believe that that was a turning point.

4:19 [SPEAKER_03]: I know everybody says you can't ever point to one play but I felt like for a lot of reasons that was a turning point. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm curious, just you or a guy who played with a lot of emotion. [SPEAKER_03]: I felt like you kept your motion under control, but you know, there's a fire burning in your belly. [SPEAKER_03]: We saw it pretty game. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry, pretty game for this show. [SPEAKER_03]: What has to happen there? [SPEAKER_03]: How big of a deal was that am I making too much out of this or was that a pivotal moment in this game? [SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's a big deal because we've seen it before. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what makes it a big deal to me. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean? [SPEAKER_01]: Have you learned your lesson from that? [SPEAKER_01]: We've been through, we've been down this, this road before we're all they go. [SPEAKER_01]: And I love it's power, I'm in fashion.

5:01 [SPEAKER_01]: I love it's love for the football game. [SPEAKER_01]: But you also got to love somebody that, you know, it's not a habitual rule stepper. [SPEAKER_01]: You know the rules, man. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what they're going to do, you know, I get it, man, you can actually turn your back the other way and have the same demonstration without getting flagged for, man. [SPEAKER_01]: He pumped about the run. [SPEAKER_01]: Be pumped about everything you're doing. [SPEAKER_01]: Be pumped like that to get everybody in the stands, which was mostly New England fans. [SPEAKER_01]: And your teammates fired up, get them fired up, man. [SPEAKER_01]: But come on, man, do what I hurt your team. [SPEAKER_01]: The biggest thing with that penalty, though, [SPEAKER_01]: It was postplay, it had that during the play, then it'd be second and 20.

5:48 [SPEAKER_01]: But the fact that it was postplay, it was the run for second to five, post penalty, 15 yards, and the down already counted. [SPEAKER_01]: So that put it at third and 20. [SPEAKER_01]: So that really put us behind the situation. [SPEAKER_01]: I was a great running back man. [SPEAKER_01]: He's gonna be a great running back. [SPEAKER_01]: When I'm gonna tell you this, when you start hurting the team, then it becomes, are we making the right move by letting him, you know, it's emotions, get the most of him. [SPEAKER_01]: That that's a problem man. [SPEAKER_01]: I play with a lot of the most than as you know. [SPEAKER_01]: I play with a lot of passion as you know, but the same time note, there's no way I was going to do anything that could come close to hurting our football team.

6:32 [SPEAKER_01]: And we've seen that a few times at Oligord and I love the death. [SPEAKER_01]: He's a healthy running back. [SPEAKER_01]: and he brings some thumbs that we haven't had in the backfield in a long time. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, obviously way different than HN, in terms of his power within the runs or making something out of nothing when, you know, you got some big guys on you. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, come on, man, this is this is football right here. [SPEAKER_01]: Man, this is the rules of the game or the rules of the game. [SPEAKER_01]: If you don't play by the rules of the game, you're gonna hurt your team. [SPEAKER_01]: And when you think it's all about the individual times, then that's not good, man, because this is quote unquote, the ultimate team sport. [SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, the whole altercation, you know, I know, worked with him and Malik. [SPEAKER_01]: It's by the one, man, you can't hurt your squad.

7:15 [SPEAKER_01]: Now, [SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes, you see a coach get after plays. [SPEAKER_01]: Now, we've seen this before. [SPEAKER_01]: We saw the conversation between Hathley and Ali Borden early in the season. [SPEAKER_01]: and it's situation like that, right? [SPEAKER_01]: We've seen this before. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, first game against Washington and the precies, and I think. [SPEAKER_01]: Right, that's what I'm saying. [SPEAKER_01]: So right, right, and heard his team then. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, now eight weeks later, nine weeks later, whatever it is, we see it rear us up ahead again. [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't care what the other team is talking about. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care what the other players are talking about. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, because I'm gonna tell you this. [SPEAKER_01]: The banner goes back and forth, man. [SPEAKER_01]: They talk trash to you, you talk trash to them. [SPEAKER_01]: What trash you saying is the question.

7:55 [SPEAKER_01]: Now, what I thought, I'll leave body language wasn't worthy of 15-yard penalty. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what he said though. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe what he said, who does anybody know what was said in that altercation? [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't seen it. [SPEAKER_01]: That could be more indicative of why he got the penalty than just what he did. [SPEAKER_01]: Because that little Bob at the head and turned around and go there with, but if he used some certain lengths, we'd say so Jews to you think they're getting in the space. [SPEAKER_01]: It happens all the time. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: For them, that's true. [SPEAKER_01]: I see it all the time, man. [SPEAKER_01]: I see it all the time. [SPEAKER_01]: But what you might say might be the thing that gets you flat. [SPEAKER_01]: You could always like, say, yeah, dog. [SPEAKER_01]: But if you say like, MFF, yeah, blank this, whatever, be I, whatever, you know me.

8:40 [SPEAKER_01]: If you say things like that, you're gonna get flagged for that stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I don't know if it was about language. [SPEAKER_01]: It couldn't have been when I watched the replay over and over and over again. [SPEAKER_01]: It couldn't have been about his body language. [SPEAKER_01]: And he wasn't really like, you know, he was over him a little bit. [SPEAKER_01]: And then he was going away talking trash. [SPEAKER_01]: But that's football right there. [SPEAKER_01]: But what he might have said might have been an issue in that situation. [SPEAKER_02]: I think it had to be that too, because as soon as he started to talk, it seemed like the guy for the Patriots. [SPEAKER_02]: was like point nanom like hey you see like he said that so it had to be what he said right right and he must have said whatever the magic cord is a magic cord or something he said something that is a flag in this league uh i'm sure we'll probably never know i thought willus handled it great honestly that's what you want from your quarterback and i thought how we handle it after the game when he spoke to the press he said all the right things there too the thing with Ali Gordon is this is what you love about him and it's also what you hate about him it's kind of like what we had with landry [SPEAKER_02]: I would, but I loved about Landry was if there was ever a game the first eight nine minutes ten minutes the team comes out flat.

9:44 [SPEAKER_02]: You know Landry was going to give him that a cheap shop and give an extra shop or push a guy after the whistle. [SPEAKER_02]: Start a little something to get the boys all fired up. [SPEAKER_02]: And next thing you know off goes a light switch. [SPEAKER_02]: My army's off and running and that's what you loved about it. [SPEAKER_02]: And I would times he went too far and he got flat for 15 yards. [SPEAKER_02]: But that team had enough talent over come those types of mistakes. [SPEAKER_03]: It's a big point. [SPEAKER_02]: This team, [SPEAKER_02]: doesn't it's still so young. [SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't have the offensive firepower anywhere close to what the team's land replayed on head. [SPEAKER_02]: So when Ali makes a mistake, it's under a microscope because it kills a drive. [SPEAKER_02]: They can't convert third into, I mean, they don't have the weapons, they don't have the talent on offense this year.

10:25 [SPEAKER_02]: Do they? [SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully, that's your they do. [SPEAKER_02]: But this year they don't. [SPEAKER_02]: And that's why that one play did change the momentum. [SPEAKER_02]: of that game really because it just be just you just sacrifice that drive. [SPEAKER_02]: You can go from 3rd to 5 they got chance to pick that up, extend the drive, keep going, maybe give points, who knows? [SPEAKER_02]: Nope, you're pretty well now we got a font next thing you know this core again, he's like okay we're screwed. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh that's kind of fun. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's domino effect. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: but that's what you love about him what you hate about him. [SPEAKER_02]: It was just like with landry at times, but you know, he's got to learn to control it. [SPEAKER_02]: And if he he's got to stop making that same mistake. [SPEAKER_02]: And if he doesn't, there's time, I don't care how good he is.

11:07 [SPEAKER_02]: I think with this group his time in my enemy won't be long. [SPEAKER_02]: Let's just leave it at that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Seth, when would that penalty occur? [SPEAKER_01]: Look what quarter it was the third quarter they're quarter right. [SPEAKER_01]: You asked you this question Does this Ali Gordon play defense though? [SPEAKER_01]: He does not and they want to talk about momentum swing Yeah, you know what if if like you talk about Jarvis Landry defense for dogs that had his back They they knew his past they knew his love. [SPEAKER_01]: You think that defense doesn't have the same thing for Ali Gordon Go out that I don't care I get what Ali did hurt us in that situation [SPEAKER_01]: All right, go out there and get some stops man stop giving up three touchdowns in the row stop doing all that stuff that you know that hurt our football team in the long run that that that That buys me more than what I really did in the third quarter now if he did that in the last drive in the fourth quarter we're going out And when the football game I get it I get it no matter when he does it that hurts our team [SPEAKER_01]: But it didn't kill our team at that point.

12:05 [SPEAKER_01]: Well, kill our teams at inability to freaking get stops when we need it stops. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean? [SPEAKER_01]: They went up and down the field like they wanted to against us. [SPEAKER_01]: And so, yeah, I'll let go of that attitude with a problem, especially on that play. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I get all that. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what, it needs to be correct. [SPEAKER_01]: And I love Belite like Mike said. [SPEAKER_01]: I loved Belite responded with that, you know? [SPEAKER_01]: Ali Gordon made him a state defense. [SPEAKER_01]: He's come out there makes a place also. [SPEAKER_01]: Hell, Malik. [SPEAKER_01]: Ali messed up. [SPEAKER_01]: Get his back. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like baseball, right? [SPEAKER_01]: I hit a ground out. [SPEAKER_01]: Come. [SPEAKER_01]: Come pick me up offense, you know, pick me up defense pick me up pick your team made up. [SPEAKER_01]: I get it, man.

12:45 [SPEAKER_01]: How about we talking about Miss Phil goes to points. [SPEAKER_01]: What are we talking to me? [SPEAKER_01]: Look, there's a host of things that I get it, but I'm saying no, I'm not talking about one point in the third quarter where we get a 15-year penalty and you know, it's a bad penalty, but [SPEAKER_01]: Hell man, what about the rest of the game moving forward that these guys could do a damn thing? [SPEAKER_03]: Also important also important, but see if they if 35 they convert and they go down in score It's a different game. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a different game But there's a matter because we still gave up three fucking touchdowns after that. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, we gave up two touchdowns after that [SPEAKER_03]: But they did, but the point is that at least the point that I'm trying to make is it didn't even end in that moment.

13:33 [SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't like a my bad fellas. [SPEAKER_03]: He goes over to the sidelines and he's and he's, you know, shoot running his mouth at the coach and then and then he's getting into it with his quarterback. [SPEAKER_03]: And I'm not a lip reader, but it kind of looked like he didn't want to hear from Malik either. [SPEAKER_03]: And none of those things are productive. [SPEAKER_03]: Does did it have any impact on the defense given up a 13-play drive? [SPEAKER_03]: No. [SPEAKER_03]: And so I agree with you whole heartedly there. [SPEAKER_03]: But I thought it was a pivotal moment, and it was a turning point in the game. [SPEAKER_03]: And that's typically, he's the other way around. [SPEAKER_03]: Typically, he's providing you that juice. [SPEAKER_03]: He's providing you that energy the other way around. [SPEAKER_03]: And I thought this was one of those instances where that fire that he brings burned the dolphins.

14:15 [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I really think it did. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're saying it burned them like it costs him a game. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what you're saying. [SPEAKER_03]: I think that it was a pivotal moment that hurt the team and they were never able to cover to my point. [SPEAKER_03]: They're not good enough yet to overcome things like that. [SPEAKER_03]: They're just dead that play that did not lose a game for us though. [SPEAKER_02]: He's not the only reason they lost but a plate of part. [SPEAKER_02]: I think that's what. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, absolutely and I say it's not the only reason they lost. [SPEAKER_02]: They couldn't stop anyone in the second half and Well, there's never one reason out, you know, all their wide receivers of patrons were without my good stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: This is the game at the fucking I said it was a pivotal moment and it was a turning point that yeah Absolutely, I think it was a it was a major contributing factor to why things went south I really made just huge word right there Major's a huge word right there like that.

15:04 [SPEAKER_01]: I told you [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, words do matter major is like at that's huge. [SPEAKER_01]: So this this penalty happened We're let's let's just this backtrack a little bit here. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, didn't didn't happen inside where were we going in the score? [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, [SPEAKER_01]: I'll offensive that with struggling, even when they got on the plus side of the field, the score touchdowns, kicking field goals, pimping field goals, whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: So you're saying that this one play with when a left is at 35 is the reason that we didn't go down the score another touchdown.

15:44 [SPEAKER_03]: it was a drive stopper. [SPEAKER_01]: It was a hundred percent of months 10,000 of minute game. [SPEAKER_01]: You're the bunch of drive stoppers in that game. [SPEAKER_01]: You're talking about the one. [SPEAKER_01]: I get what you're saying, but you're talking about one instance of a fiery guy having a hand on. [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't have juice. [SPEAKER_03]: I absolutely do. [SPEAKER_03]: And look, you're the first guy to say, as we saw, we saw instances earlier in the season, where [SPEAKER_03]: You know, the, the offense was struggling. [SPEAKER_03]: Malique would put together a good drive. [SPEAKER_03]: The offense would score and then you wanted the defense to get a stop and they didn't get a stop. [SPEAKER_03]: And then your pissed off that they need to step up and get a stop in that moment, right? [SPEAKER_03]: That's what you're saying. [SPEAKER_03]: And in this moment, [SPEAKER_03]: The defense had just given up a score, the offense needed to answer.

16:27 [SPEAKER_03]: That was the offense's opportunity to answer and to tell the Patriots, it's okay, good. [SPEAKER_03]: You got your little touchdown, but we're still putting our foot on your throat and they were, they had an opportunity to do that, and it's stalled before they ever could, and then that energy comes about a good sign line. [SPEAKER_01]: It comes about a good. [SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely, that drives stall because I'm not guaranteeing anything, I'm not guaranteeing anything, I'm just saying that that was a pivotal play and I thought it was a turning point and I stand by that. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, you're right here in T. Here's like in guaranteed real quick. [SPEAKER_02]: I know where they're going to kill Shee.com and use a promo code Dolphin stock. [SPEAKER_02]: You're going to get $25 when you trade $25 because football season's underway is a lot of hot debates like we're having right now and we're going to find out who's going to make the playoffs who's going to win their division.

17:17 [SPEAKER_02]: At Calshy America's number one prediction market platform lets you trade those predictions in a live market We got a big Monday night games night Chicago ads. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's a big big game the bears are trading at 40% on the road That means a hundred dollar bet or earn you two hundred and thirty nine dollars on Kelsey you're trading its peers in a live market Mean there's no house and there's a probability changes you can buy in and out of your position Trader drip the game and more on Kelsey download Kelsey use a promo code dolphin stop to get twenty five dollars when you trade twenty five dollars [SPEAKER_02]: trade with snacks 18 and over only restrictions and eligibility requirements apply even contract trading of office risk and may not be suitable for all investors calcium products are not available in all jurisdictions prices values available markets may differ for those mentioned for more information see calcium dot com backslash regulatory okay now you guys go back in white my god i'm barely over 18 man am i eligible you are out if yes if you're just over by a day you're eligible okay making sure man try i'm going to get out that man [SPEAKER_01]: You know, this isn't baseball where an error turns into several runs like the brewers might get in one inning, you know, momentum swing.

18:38 [SPEAKER_01]: It's not about a momentum swing when it comes to football in my opinion, when in momentum when you're talking about football players, you know, all right, we didn't get anything. [SPEAKER_01]: We put it away. [SPEAKER_01]: Defense has nothing to do with just happening on offense, get your ass out there and get a stop, make a play. [SPEAKER_01]: That's bottom line and then get out there the next time. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, Seth, I went through this all the time. [SPEAKER_01]: We went through 90 momentum swings when I played. [SPEAKER_01]: We pointed, pointed, pointed all the time. [SPEAKER_01]: And how great was our defense to go out there and get the ball back for us every single time when we needed them too? [SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely. [SPEAKER_01]: The defense doesn't have to. [SPEAKER_03]: The CT and Zach can pass. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not talking about that. [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't matter. [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't matter. [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't matter who it's Seth.

19:20 [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't matter who it's. [SPEAKER_01]: They head to the three points in the first half. [SPEAKER_03]: I have a clear fine question. [SPEAKER_03]: I have a clear fine question. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't disagree with you that the defense should have stood up and made a stop. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't disagree with you multiple stops. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't disagree with you that one place should not have that big of an impact. [SPEAKER_03]: I think we're in agreement there. [SPEAKER_03]: Like when you're saying it doesn't matter, I'm just saying I think it did. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not saying it should of. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not saying that's okay. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not giving the defense to your plan. [SPEAKER_01]: You're playing the results. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, all we have in the results is that your plan is you're you're saying that the middle of the game is going to be the one to change the game.

20:04 [SPEAKER_03]: I felt that that was a momentum killer in the game. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, I did, but but they still had opportunity to have that point of the net drive. [SPEAKER_02]: Then lead. [SPEAKER_02]: They had a lead. [SPEAKER_02]: All they have was a lead. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean [SPEAKER_03]: ahead of schedule. [SPEAKER_03]: I felt that after what we saw against the jets, and let me take a step back, the way they played against the Niners, the way they played against the chiefs, the way, you know, not the Bengals, because that was a crappy game, but then obviously the way they dominated the jets offensively, and you know, found a way to win at the end, and then the way they started this half, I was like, wow, this team is starting to come together, and I felt [SPEAKER_03]: I felt we had a chance to win that football game.

21:10 [SPEAKER_03]: And I even felt we had a chance to win that football game even after they had given up the lead when they were marching down the field before they missed that damn field goal. [SPEAKER_03]: I still like you know, [SPEAKER_01]: And what we're going to do, we did a great job with the 10th and the early winter we go is it ever is it going to fall on us with Drake may is going to be Drake may one that we know now and that that showed up and on top of that you know we we have a problem.

21:50 [SPEAKER_01]: as wide receivers on his football team and I'm going to call him out of making plays when the balls given when they're given an opportunity. [SPEAKER_01]: All the Drake Maze guys make plays, man. [SPEAKER_01]: Tough catches, contested catchers. [SPEAKER_01]: Winner are guys. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care how young or old you are. [SPEAKER_01]: When are you gonna do things like that? [SPEAKER_01]: Did you make 100% raise in colleagues? [SPEAKER_01]: I know I had to make them in colleagues and I had to make them in the pros. [SPEAKER_01]: When are guys gonna make plays when plays are presented? [SPEAKER_01]: You're not always gonna be wide open. [SPEAKER_01]: The ball's not always gonna be perfect. [SPEAKER_01]: Somebody's huge on French, Mike. [SPEAKER_01]: Somebody's gonna fucking play, man. [SPEAKER_02]: Chris Bell has been a, you know, look, I know he rushed back from injury and I give him a ton of credit for that. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm shocked he was on the field week one.

22:33 [SPEAKER_02]: So people don't take this the wrong way. [SPEAKER_02]: This year he really hasn't been good Chris Bell. [SPEAKER_02]: And now we're going into what's the guy now. [SPEAKER_02]: He's been just a guy and I were going to weeks eight or nine and I know he had not much of a training camp. [SPEAKER_02]: I get it. [SPEAKER_02]: I get it. [SPEAKER_02]: He's a rookie. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not saying he's going to, you know, this is going to be him forever. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not saying that. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just saying for the first what eight weeks or so. [SPEAKER_02]: I've many weeks to play. [SPEAKER_02]: He just really hasn't been good. [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and when you have a unit that's so young and there's not a lot. [SPEAKER_02]: People you can turn to really we kind of need him to be good and he really hasn't been good Kevin Coleman he's one of those guys who I think we're starting to see improve a little bit each week I thought he played really well yesterday. [SPEAKER_02]: I'll give him that Washington I thought was sensational yesterday.

23:15 [SPEAKER_02]: I mean took a big shot to the head He was on the sideline for like a minute or two came back and then he's of course a touch time thought he was good But yeah, sure right that water see for group [SPEAKER_02]: is not helping Willis is, you know, and that's not an excuse for Willis either. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, people hear what they want here. [SPEAKER_02]: It's just thought that why you see your group is sort of needs to play a little bit better right now. [SPEAKER_03]: I know Willis played a good game. [SPEAKER_02]: I know you find for the most part. [SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was solid. [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: especially in the off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off- [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I also saw when you look out on the field and he he holds the bar pumps it or and he wants it and then he has to make a move I see guys in the same area like I mean how to help I see guys in the same area where like he's trying to get to somebody but somebody else comes in the area with spring to the fender kind of like what Malik wasn did a couple weeks ago and that you know got an interception for us I saw the same thing like [SPEAKER_01]: Do these guys know the hell they're doing at times?

24:31 [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I was talking, you know, I like the name drop up in the sweet some time. [SPEAKER_01]: This is my favorite part of me. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sitting there talking in that more. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's like, stop this, stop all this motion and all this other stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I mean, and given these guys, especially young guys who want to actually go out there and learn right now because it's gonna take a little time to learn everything. [SPEAKER_01]: And that becomes a problem right here. [SPEAKER_01]: Now, for running back some of the talk [SPEAKER_01]: But at the same time, though, when you've got these young receivers out there and they're saying, you know, stop the motion and all this other stuff, they probably should, because for the most part, these guys start moving around, I've seen time mounts, I've seen missile alignment, come on man.

25:14 [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a good one. [SPEAKER_01]: We got a formation problem. [SPEAKER_01]: We got a little shift. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: We have a couple of make, are you kidding me? [SPEAKER_01]: Come on, man. [SPEAKER_01]: That's, that's what you do. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the first thing. [SPEAKER_01]: You're first thing you do. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you get your assignment, but then you're lying. [SPEAKER_01]: It's the next thing you should know. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just missed the hardest part. [SPEAKER_03]: We had what they're playing. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: We didn't cover or we covered up the tackle. [SPEAKER_03]: We didn't cover. [SPEAKER_02]: We had, we had, we had, we had, we had, we had, we had a cold out of Paul, but it's not Paul's fault. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: You always got to be, you always got to be in legal formation and we were not, you know, then we had to move the food back up in the legal formation. [SPEAKER_01]: You can't do that in a cell. [SPEAKER_01]: You can do that in colleagues all you want. [SPEAKER_01]: Taxing could be uncovered. [SPEAKER_01]: You can have as many guys on line scrimmages you want. [SPEAKER_01]: Not in the pros. [SPEAKER_01]: You got to be in a legal formation like all the time.

25:56 [SPEAKER_01]: So that tackle can never be uncovered when we're starting to play. [SPEAKER_01]: on automatically legal right there. [SPEAKER_01]: That's like illegal in NFL. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, so do we need to just line up and run it? [SPEAKER_01]: You can't do that because how do you determine zone things like that? [SPEAKER_01]: How do you get guys out of this for blocking or run games? [SPEAKER_01]: Because the motion like move a line back in this way, giving our guards and tackles an angle on guys. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the biggest problem for me. [SPEAKER_01]: These young guys still don't know what the hell to do on Sundays a lot of times. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's gonna come, you know, I'm not talking like, how great I was my first year.

26:39 [SPEAKER_01]: Look, I told you guys to be here in a half to really know everything about the offense. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: He's got to still learn this thing, but the same time, no. [SPEAKER_01]: getting those books, stay awake in those meetings, and learn when these shifts are happening, how you have to be lined up the correct way. [SPEAKER_01]: But when people are sitting there talking about, and I love you guys feel like Malik had a solid game, it was okay, you know what I mean? [SPEAKER_01]: Could have been better, I wish you were gonna ran a little bit more, but at the same time, when you watch that film, when you watch that game, you see these guys stacked on top of each other in the same area like, [SPEAKER_01]: you wonder what the hell is going on and who's misaligned, who's missing the assignment because we don't know they're talking about today in meetings and what they'll know right you know to me I told the story all the time about one time when you know I'm [SPEAKER_01]: damn Reno and I run a couple times the one time we were not in the same page.

27:34 [SPEAKER_01]: I went one way and Danny threw it another way and then I get back and watch the TV copy and they're like, oh, it has to be OJ's fault because Danny's been the league so long, right? [SPEAKER_01]: You know, and I get it. [SPEAKER_01]: I get what they're thinking right here, but on Monday during the meeting, [SPEAKER_01]: Daddy looks back and me and said, oh, oh, Jay, my bad. [SPEAKER_01]: My bad. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I was wrong. [SPEAKER_01]: But the rest of the world doesn't know what's his name. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, B.C. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, everybody else in the rest of the world was on me, still. [SPEAKER_02]: They didn't get that answer. [SPEAKER_02]: You know what to me? [SPEAKER_02]: So. [SPEAKER_02]: My girlfriend told the world that, oh, Jay didn't know what he was doing. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: So let me ask you this. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to bring it back to Ali Gordon. [SPEAKER_03]: And you know, we could debate all day long.

28:15 [SPEAKER_03]: Was it a pivotal moment? [SPEAKER_03]: Shoulder to have been all that. [SPEAKER_03]: has he developed a reputation now? [SPEAKER_03]: Does that, let me ask you this, Jews, when you played, did you know who the hotheads were? [SPEAKER_03]: Did you guys go into games with kind of the scouting report with the intention of, oh, if you can just get this guy triggered, you know, you're gonna, there's hidden yardage in this game to be had because all you gotta do is push this guy's buttons. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know what, I mean, not me. [SPEAKER_01]: Mostly like, for me, the vision wise, I didn't have to worry about that. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe some offensive linemen, maybe some, you know, some running backs that had to do with a linebacker. [SPEAKER_01]: That was way that way up.

28:55 [SPEAKER_01]: But I'm gonna tell you this, we knew Brian Cox was going there. [SPEAKER_01]: He just won't play away from not gonna hell out of somebody doing some, you know what I mean? [SPEAKER_01]: But I love to happen anymore, my team. [SPEAKER_01]: I love this fire in this passion, man. [SPEAKER_01]: And you know what, if he did something like that, hopefully we find a way to have us back. [SPEAKER_01]: The picking up, like we talked about in baseball terms, you know, that's part of a man. [SPEAKER_01]: And I love the fact, I think the reason Malie was at Ali liked that is because Ali was not going to admit that he fucked up, you know what I mean? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: You do something like that. [SPEAKER_01]: Get over there and be like, my bad. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, my bad on it. [SPEAKER_01]: Instead, he was like, he was 100% correct in his own mind.

29:38 [SPEAKER_01]: So that's like, you know, Malik has probably like, you know, if he would accept the fact that he messed up, [SPEAKER_01]: It had been a, it's been a done deal, right? [SPEAKER_01]: It's like second time. [SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely. [SPEAKER_01]: And then it goes on. [SPEAKER_01]: You're in your right, say, if you talked about the fact that it continued on, you know what I mean? [SPEAKER_01]: And there was a link at the getting involved. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what that's my biggest problem with Ali. [SPEAKER_01]: And I was saying, then we have a prime. [SPEAKER_01]: But Brian would go out there and get us to set, get us a big hit, just to turn off. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, Ali was the same type of guy. [SPEAKER_01]: So we had to do with that. [SPEAKER_01]: When those things happen with your hot hit at players, because don't think that everybody, you know, is some saints out there. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't have much of how they had to players go out there and have their back man go out there and pick them up All principally and more importantly, defensively when that stuff happened.

30:22 [SPEAKER_01]: That's all that's my whole point man. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think we're I think we're aligned there. [SPEAKER_03]: I think we're aligned. [SPEAKER_03]: Are we so are we? [SPEAKER_03]: And that point we are aligned. [SPEAKER_03]: You sure? [SPEAKER_02]: I think we're making progress to have a medium. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, we don't have to be if you want to keep going. [SPEAKER_03]: I told you if you're already in another series and it's carrying on past the bench and all that there's a problem that needs to be you can't keep you in the defense of series right I mean so we put it away did it go on the next offensive series I don't know I wasn't in the head at two you know to be in the tunnel [SPEAKER_01]: I thought he played well after that situation.

31:06 [SPEAKER_03]: How big Olly Gordon fan? [SPEAKER_03]: Like a big Olly Gordon fan. [SPEAKER_03]: Sure. [SPEAKER_03]: That shit has to stop. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, there we go. [SPEAKER_01]: There we go. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll leave it. [SPEAKER_01]: That's it. [SPEAKER_01]: It does. [SPEAKER_01]: When you heard your team, it has to stop. [SPEAKER_01]: And like I said, well, you don't man up to your mistakes. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a bigger prompt for me as a football player. [SPEAKER_02]: And I think to just from like a larger picture, you know, they score touchdown. [SPEAKER_02]: We get the ball back. [SPEAKER_02]: three and out that happens they come back they score touch out you can see one team starting to pick up go one way is he one team unraveled a little bit on the field with that and stuff it's just from a visually one team going this way one team going that way yes a remarkable chances after that play two turn things around have a stop keeps going but you just see the momentum going [SPEAKER_01]: two different directions, Mike, do you think that all these situations to drink me, let's go get these do you know, I'm just talking trash.

32:00 [SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was like friends fire, somebody was over there seeing them yell, we're going to really fire, we got them now, look, you got them, do you know what I'm just saying you see one team? [SPEAKER_02]: Starting to 200 things around in the game see one team starting to take it Yeah, look that was a game of two halves. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah first half. [SPEAKER_02]: I thought my name was great actually I thought they played pretty much like the diverse of jets They had a few mistakes not many mistakes, so I thought they played really well for the tail they got this year I thought they played really really well the second half they did not look like that same team in the first half after half time They just it looked really different team and that's unfortunate. [SPEAKER_02]: But I think again as I was tough fans yesterday on the [SPEAKER_02]: On the show I did after the game, you know, this is my main offensive 2026.

32:41 [SPEAKER_02]: They're going to tease you for a little bit. [SPEAKER_02]: Get you up there on the roller coaster of high emotions. [SPEAKER_02]: And then they're going to, you know, you're going to come crashing down at times. [SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be tough for them to play a full four quarter game, but she gets that team was in a super bowl last year. [SPEAKER_02]: Stay with you on a bottom. [SPEAKER_02]: I know the guys. [SPEAKER_02]: That was a really good team Mike. [SPEAKER_02]: They're really good teams. [SPEAKER_02]: So I agree. [SPEAKER_03]: Again, and I think that's what's impressing me about Miami is that they're starting to be competitive with these teams. [SPEAKER_03]: They're not getting run out of the gym. [SPEAKER_03]: They're being competitive. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, so do we sound like fans that have been jilted in for 25 years?

33:22 [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to take a little bit off you. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, I get moral victories and all that stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: But if you, if you actually believe in the vision of building, developing, and understanding that this had to be this big cleanse, and now are they working towards something, it feels like it is a team that is starting to improve. [SPEAKER_03]: But in a moment, it's frustrating. [SPEAKER_03]: And I get it. [SPEAKER_01]: Really really I mean, I don't I don't like there's no way I have seen you in those moments Orange I'm like a fire today [SPEAKER_01]: right, but we're supposed to be hot garbage, aren't we? [SPEAKER_01]: We are supposed to be.

34:03 [SPEAKER_01]: You don't find out what I can do. [SPEAKER_01]: My whole point is I we are definitely improving. [SPEAKER_01]: My whole point is this. [SPEAKER_01]: My whole point is that, you know, we get frustrated when a team that's not supposed to win loses. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's what's frustrating to me. [SPEAKER_01]: We're not expecting to win. [SPEAKER_01]: We're seven point dogs just today. [SPEAKER_01]: We score late touchdown. [SPEAKER_01]: We're up 13 10 and we're mad that we didn't hold that lead. [SPEAKER_03]: What, but that hope doesn't mean something for you. [SPEAKER_03]: That hope, that that like being able to see that. [SPEAKER_01]: Man, I expect us to win every single game. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, who the hell we're playing again? [SPEAKER_00]: Well, shame on you again. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm just saying or everybody's like everybody's all a pissy things about, you know, the fact that we lose them, but they expected us to lose.

34:49 [SPEAKER_01]: Now they're pissed off that we might win a game. [SPEAKER_01]: Now we're pissed off that we didn't win a game that we're supposed to lose. [SPEAKER_01]: That's how we're going to do. [SPEAKER_02]: Hold on, I got to address this one comment here. [SPEAKER_02]: This guy says Mike, you were saying after five stands for me. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know where I say that because I'm looking what it wasn't on the air live and two sitting here. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm going through my Twitter. [SPEAKER_02]: I think my first you said that the office is up with the stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: They were terrible at the beginning and they were. [SPEAKER_01]: So they bigger some things out. [SPEAKER_01]: They were awesome. [SPEAKER_02]: They didn't have a shot. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, whose agent was the most excited guy by the end of the game. [SPEAKER_03]: It was Kate and Proctor's agent. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know who it is. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, but yeah, I mean, the dad was about to be special.

35:31 [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I mean, honestly, Kingston was, I mean, he wasn't as bad as survived. [SPEAKER_01]: at times, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, [SPEAKER_03]: He's got one more than you and me. [SPEAKER_03]: He's got one and yeah, he's killing it rough rough start off to a rough start.

36:12 [SPEAKER_03]: I think he's going to be a good football player. [SPEAKER_03]: But the facts are the facts came proctor as is a difference maker for this offensive line and you saw it in his absence. [SPEAKER_03]: It's not saying that the guy who had to replace him was trash, but I feel like to your point, [SPEAKER_03]: Brewer and Paul like the three of those guys together are better than if any one of them's missing and they're certainly better than than they were without proctor in the middle But all right, well, you know the whole point save it for Wednesday, man Yeah, so point was Ali Gordon talk we'll talk about some more let me get into my all 22 and I'll have more more more more shit to say [SPEAKER_02]: Fair enough to real quick real quick is why I made quick points chop Robinson from Penn State is he's played a lot better this year A lot better this year and the Chris Johnson play if they're gonna blitz them you got to tell him where to hit the corner Yeah, we probably afraid to get the flag Yeah, we're saying it's names are afraid to get the flag.

37:11 [SPEAKER_02]: I and you know what it's good that he has that type of self-awareness, but [SPEAKER_01]: Mike, I'd rather than drew that mark in the back. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'd worry about anything else. [SPEAKER_01]: Just don't say, I don't think we really meant it back. [SPEAKER_01]: And if he's a little bit late, we'll take that flag. [SPEAKER_01]: But you can't remember. [SPEAKER_01]: You can not whiff. [SPEAKER_01]: You can't whiff, man. [SPEAKER_03]: That 15-yard penalty would not have been a turn a negative turning point. [SPEAKER_03]: Right, right, right. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, right, right. [SPEAKER_02]: But if you go to the middle of the party, they're for 15. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a different 15, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't need to head don't need to just sit him in the back and you've had a Baksha you don't get very many shots like that.

37:52 [SPEAKER_03]: The strikes always really really really big Big strikes up. [SPEAKER_01]: I got a bigger strike zone in the back of a quarter back. [SPEAKER_01]: You're doing the front of it. [SPEAKER_01]: It's been over right there. [SPEAKER_01]: Just a bit of a part right over here. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, this was, this was actually, um, it was a lot of fun. [SPEAKER_03]: Even though I know it got a little heated, but maybe that was what it. [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I only Gordon brought that out. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm eager, big, sir. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, he's going to watch it out at all of us. [SPEAKER_03]: What, what you got, Mike? [SPEAKER_02]: We didn't talk about it, but in the comments below if you're watching on YouTube or now live, here's our debate from free show.
